The "Jan Sofat Buurtvereniging" was established in 1987.
The aim of the association is creating and maintaining of an attractive neighborhood at Jan Sofat, with a healthy and pleasant environment for the residents.
The association endeavors to realize this aim, a.o. by: having roads and road shoulders improved and maintained, taking measures which may lead to more security for the residents and to a better protection of their property..
In short, the "Jan Sofat Buurtvereniging" is responsible for collecting membership fees, infrastructural maintenance (repairing and maintaining of roads, road shoulders etc) and security.
